Bitcamp is a hackathon hosted annually at the University of Maryland, bringing together over 1,400 attendees, making it the largest collegiate hackathon on the East Coast.
As the 2024 Design Director, I led a team of 8 designers and illustrators in developing the 10th year anniversary visual campaign: All About the Journey, which celebrates the hackathon’s 10th anniversary.

Reflections
Leading a team for such a large-scale event for the first time taught me the value of stepping back, listening, and fostering a supportive, creative environment. All About the Journey celebrated 10 years of growth and collaboration, honoring the work of past organizers and participants who built Bitcamp into what it is today. It was a chance to reflect on our history, celebrate the present, and look forward to an exciting future as the organization continues to grow.
